Jordan joined the Swine Vet Center in 2017 with experience in health and production at a large family-owned production system. He worked as a herd veterinarian in western Iowa and, prior to joining SVC, served in a dual role of Director of Health and Production for western Iowa finishing as well as overseeing health programs for sow operations in Nebraska and Missouri.

Jordan is originally from a diversified farm with crops, cattle and hogs outside of Cherokee, Iowa. He graduated from high school in Brandon, South Dakota and  received his BS in animal science from South Dakota State University in 2010. From there he attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He earned both his DVM and MS in veterinary preventive medicine in 2014.

Working today in the swine-dense area of Northwest Iowa, Southwest Minnesota, and Southeast South Dakota, Jordan seeks to help independent producers solve complex disease issues and continue the success of their systems.

Jordan and his wife Sasha live in Milford, Iowa with their two daughters, Myla and Adalyn, where they enjoy spending time with family and at the lake.
