Levi was raised on a Hampshire seedstock and row-crop farm near Jackson, MN. After the second Pseudorabies diagnosis and depopulation, the farm transitioned to show pigs. Levi showed pigs, sheep, cattle, and other projects. Levi judged livestock in 4-H and FFA, and later at Iowa State University.
He finished his Animal Science degree in 2011 and veterinary school in 2015, both at Iowa State University. After veterinary school, Levi practiced for two years in a mixed animal practice in Northwest Iowa, working with mostly swine and cattle. He then moved to exclusively swine as a production veterinarian for New Fashion Pork for 6 years where he was involved in a variety of roles including health, research and sow production.
Levi enjoys working with a variety of producers to improve health and production.
Levi and his wife, Brenda live in Lakefield, Minnesota with their three young kids. He enjoys fishing in his free time.
